HORSE RACE PROBLEM
At Auteuil, France, a few weeks ago, a German jockey named Oertel was .to have ridden a French horse. Some Fiench jockeys objected on the grounds that last year a French jockey was boycotted by the German owners. To avoid unpleasantness, tbe tsewards decided that while the jockey was quite within his rights, his debut in French racing would ne postponed.
