AUCKLAND COMPETITIONS. Tho recent Auckland singing competitions wero noticeable for a lot of zeal on the part of the entrants. One choir was instructed not to eat sweets just before their singing turn came. This order brought a query from a twelve year old lad. "Mayn’t we have a Pulmonn, before our Church sing we always do."
