As neither Auckland nor Wellington have been defeated this season, this match will decide which province is to hold the trophy for the next 12 months. Apart from naving this importance, the meeting of the two teams is regarded as the big 'trial, in view of the selection of the New Zealand team for England. The New Zealand selectors will be present, and it is expected that after the match they will name most of the players to make the trip to England. The majority of the Wellington representatives left for Auckland yesterday afternoon. Kortlang and the country members of the team, Lowry, Worker and Dempster, are expected to join the party on the way up. The Wellington team for the match is as follows:—W. 8. Brice (captain), J. S.
