Australian and Cablo Association* (Received January 0, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, January 7. The Prince of Wales had an accident while hunting with the Quorn at Mel-ton-Mowbray. His horse stumbled when taking off for a difficult fence, and fell. The Prince of Wales jumped clear, hut in so doing badly strained his left wrist. His wrist-watch was smashed to atoms. The horse galloped off, hut was captured and returned to the Prince, who, though obviously in pain, mounted and completed the day’s sport. The Duchess of Westminster also fell, and somersaulted, but was not injured. Another member, leas fortunate, broke his arm and collarbone.
