LAURA LA PLANTE IN "H ER BIG NIGHT"

The laugh hit of the season is hoif Laura La Plante, in her latest picture, is described. This delightful comedy commences screening at the De Luxe Theatre on Friday night next, with a matinee on Saturday at 2.30. The cast includes Natt Carr, Tuliy Marshall, Zasu Pitts, Mack Swain, and John Rochc. “Her Big Nignt” is truly a sparkling comedy, full of most humorous situations. It moves without one dull moment to a climax which approaches Bedlam in its high comedy. The trials and tribulations of a movie producer and his press agent are humorously depicted in this picture. The story tells of how a shop girl tried to impersonate a movie star, which brings about numerous complications. Talk about action, talk about trouble, talk about fun—see the thundering herd of wild wives, jealous husbands, irate sweethearts, tumbling over each other to rescue the innocent sinner who didn’t need rescuing? Patrons are promised the greatest laugh they ever had. A big supporting programme has also been’arranged, including a delightful musical programme. The box plans are now open at the Bristol Piano Company. Aitken's Book Arcafde, or ring theatre 'phone 23-CSO. nTtlTmfmmiWm
