SYDNEY LAND CLAIMED “A ROYAI. GRANT.” Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. SAN FRANCISCO, December 3. Ten grandchildren of Robert Paton, who allege that Paton was granted 100 acres of land in 1835 in what is now tho heart of Sydney, to-day commissioned lawyers to establish their heirship to property Which is now estimated to bo worth 30 million dollars. Paton’s heirs claim ■ that Jie was given a Royal grant in recognition of a method of ridding Sydney harbour of dangerous rocks. Eight .grandchildren live in California; two, J. G. Paton and Mrs S. Allan M. Mowry, in Now York City.
