BRISBANE FIRE FIGHTERS By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. BRISBANE, November 25. In connection with the firemen’s strike, the Board of Trade, at the men’s request, called a compulsory conference of the parties for Monday, on condition that the men resumed work immediately. This they agreed to. There wero no fire calls during the day. The fire brigadosmen in the Brisbane district went on strike at 8 o’clock yesterday morning. The men are said to be striving for the samb conditions for ont-station men as. are now applied to those in the metropolitan area.
