ABANDONED HER CHILD

YOUNG WOMAN BEFORE COURT. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH. November 25. The young married woman who was arrested at Blenheim early in the week on a charge of unlawfully abandoning her baby, which was left on the steps of the Salvation Army maternity home, Christchurch, on the night of November 16tli, appeared before Mr H. A. Y'oung, S.M., in the Police Court this morning, and was remanded till to-morrow. Her name was ordered to bo suppressed in the meantime.
