BOARDINGHOUSE BURNED OCCUPANTS LOSE EVERYTHING. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, September 22. A, two-story boarding house in Boston road was destroyed hy fire at one o’clock this morning. There were, ten boarders in tho house at the time, also Mrs C. Buckton, manageress, and two women assistants. All made a hurried escape in their night attire. A boarder was awakened by a orackling noise and found flames burning fiercely between an attached washhouse and a back passage. He aroused the other occupants, who were unable to save any effects except a few pictures The premises are owned by Mrs P. Miller.
