Both' Trowern and . Jamito should be eeen at their best as. both have been taking a rest in view of the importance attaching to to-morrow night’s meeting. Trowern arrived from Auckland yesterday, and reports himself right, at the top of his while Jamito has been seen to considerable! advantage in his training work locally.] The following amateur contests will] he staged as preliminaries to the bid contest: —Withey v. Broomfield. Cotterell v. Thomas, Rathner v. Urwin, Stone r. Holmes. ' \
