- RECORD PRODUCTION Motor-spirit production in America has broken all records, 987,633,000 gallons, or 23,515,000 barrels, being produced. This represents a daily average production of 32,921,000 gallons, or 784,000 barrels, wbicb, compared with the preceding month, is a gain of 5 per cent., and with April, 1925, a gain of 13 per cent. This production represents a petrol recovery from the crude oil run to stills of 35.4 per cent., the highest ever recorded.
