ACCIDENT AT PETONE
INJURIES PROVE FATAL APPRENTICE CARPENTER T CRUSHED,
. Arthur Augustus Geeson, a single man aged 21, an apprentice carpenter by trade, employed at the - Petone Workshops, and residing at 66, Pretoria street, Lower Hutt, was- admitted to the Wellington Hospital at 4.33 p.m. yesterday, suffering from serious injuries 'to head and chest, received through being Crushed between a railway wagon and the- door of a suction gas plant undergoing alterations at Petone.
: The injured man died at 5.15 p.m., 40 minutes 1 after lie - admittance tu the hospital., Lfiter information shows that Geeson was working on a gas producer plant which was being demolished, and it is presumed that he got jambed between the waggon and A door.
