MANAWATU RESULTS CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS. Per Press Association. PALMERSTON N., September 9. The golf tournament was continued this morning in glorious weather. The following are the results of the first round of the championship:—Cumberworth beat Lewis, 2 up; Quinn bent Seifert, jun., 7 and 6 • Macmillan beat Young, 2 and 1; Collins beat Gorton, 4 ana 3; Crosse beat Sim, 4 and 8; Seifert beat Bendall, 3 and 2; Ekstedt beat Druce, (1 up at the 19th; Bidwill beat Dale, 2 and 1.
