En route to Atlantic City for a beauty pageant, Miss Beryl Mills, the selected “Queen of Australia,” was met at the pier on Monday by Mist Fay Lanphier, of Alameda, California, holder of the American beauty title. The steamer Sonoma, bearing the Australian girl, was met by the city’s fireboat, with streams of water playing over the side, and escorted tnrough the Golden Gate.
