KING COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP MRS RICHTER WINS TITLE. Per Press Association. TAL'MARUNUI, August 13. The King Country women's golf championships were played here today, four teams competing—Taumarunui, Te Kuiti, Te Awamutu, and Otorohanga. The match was played over 27 holes. Mrs A. W. Richter (Taumarunuil winning the championship with a gross score of 121. Miss lVoolley (Te Awamutu) was runner-up, with 147. The teams match was won by Taumarunui, with a gross score of 595. Other scores were: Te Awamutu 614. Te Kuiti 650, Otorolianga 687. The men play to-morrow, over 36 holes.
