A PRACTICAL BOUDOIR CAP
The boudoir cap in the picture i? ideal for the protection of the shingled coiffure; in addition to which owing to its simplicity, it is extermoly becoming to all except very thin faces. For the latter it may he suggested, in passing, the “ear-flap” variety is perferable. The advantage of this little cap is that while you can easily make it yourself, it is practically ready-made, if you wish, when the material is bought, inasmuch as it is possible to
procure the embroidery and lace hand which forms the bulk of the cap, complete by tho yard. All that remains to he done is to fix it round a net or crepe de chine circular crown. 'Hie piece of lac© or embroidery let in at the top is optional; and in any case it could be purchased in medallion form to match the band. The chio little bow at the side is obviously another optional feature; hut it is delightfully effective, and not particularly expensive. One word of advice, however, and that is; if you decide tp have .the bow., havfl it: with
long ends. A plain little how would look just ordinary, and very much less attractive than no bow at all.
