EXPORT BUTTER
TOO MUCH WATER. At the Auckland Police Court th* Magistrate, Mr F. K. Hunt, fined the Jdinuera Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., and Rotorua dairy factory each five pounds for sending butter for grading prior to export containing above sixteen per cent, of water. Counsel for both companies stated that tho excess moisture was inadvertent. So far as Hinucra was concerned in correspondence with the department tlie company had been exonerated, though the prosecution wns forced up it a 3 a matter of duty.
