THE V.O.C. GRAMAPHONE THE INSTRUMENT BEAUTIFUL
CHE multiplicity of gramophones on the market to-day and the bewildering statements that are made about the relative good points of each, make it perfectly confusing for the prospective buyer of a machine to know whether he is really getting the best value for his money. In the selection of a Gramophone it is always advisable to be quite sure at least about four things. The motor, which is really the soul of the machine, must be perfect. The fine and delicate mechanism must be totally enclosed, so as to escape every speck of dust, and lubrication must be done automatically by a wick feed. The bearings must be removable and adjustable, and the whole mehcanism must be so silent in running and at the same time so powerful m action that the softest music can be reproduced and heard distinctly. The cabinet should not only be strongly constructed, but should at the same time be pleasing in appearance so as to make quite an attractive piece of furniture for any room in the house. All these attractive features, and many more, are, to be found in the V.O.C. (Voice of Centuries) machine. This machine has been truly called the I 'gramophone of gramophones,” with its motor so perfect, its fine delicate mechanism so beautifully adjusted, its cabinet work so artistic, and far above all its soft, mellow, sonorous music so pleasing, so refined, and so delicate that even if the rustle of leaves were recorded it would be distinctly heard through this sensitive machine. A special invitation is extended to all Show visitors to have a leisurely stroll through our showrooms and to examine all the different models of this truly wonderful machine. We have thousands of Records in stock, and you can hear your own favourite selection on any of our large range of models. Our address is 90, Wakefield Street (opp. Public Library), Wellington, and any further information you may require about our Gramophone we shall gladly furnish you with.
