At the general meeting of the Erdoel Company, Germany’s biggest oil organisation, the chairman announced that the company’s buying, selling, and distributing organisations had been turned into a separate company called Olex, which had signed an agreement for several years’ delivery from the Anglo-Per-sian Oil Company. The Erdoel had thereby regained the production which it lost through the (war, and won back to a certain extent its position in the petroleum industry throughout the world.
