BOYS’ INSTITUTE
BUILDING EXTENSION FUND NOW EXCEEDS 100. Notwithstanding the fact that so many subscription lists, including those of the Carillon Society, are scattered all over the city at the present time, subscriptions to the appeal by the Wellington Boys’ Institute continue to come in. The amounts promised to date now exceed JjUOO. Lists are being circulated in the Government Building, post and telegraph office, railways and other Government departments. The Civic League have also undertaken to collect in the various suburbs. By the time these and other collectors’ lists are handed in a considerable increase to the sum already announced is anticipated:— £ e. d.
