The Board of Health this week -eon=;dered a letter from the Wellington f lty Council asking the board to issue a requisition enabling the council to i-ase a special loan of £25,000 to pro- ■ u steam disinfector and certain public conveniences in the city. It was decided that a requisition be issued to enable the council to Provide a steam disinfector, but that * *ie hoard was of opinion that a poll snould be taken on the proposal to provide public conveniences before the matter, was further considered bv the Board of Health. 7 '
