fROBABLY GOING TO MR McLEOD It is generally understood that the Hon. J. G. Coates will drop the portfolio of Public W->rks very shortly, and that it will he taken over by the Hon. A. D. McLeod. Mr Coates will still have Railways and Native Affairs. The Maoris are very keen that he shall continue to he Native Minister, but it is by no means certain that Mr Coates will hold on 0 to Railways for long.
