MRS McVICAR CONGRATULATED A resolution of congratulation to Mrs A. McVicar upon her appointment as associate in the Children’s Court was passed by the Wellington Hospital Board yesterday at the instance of Mr G. Petherick. He said the appointment was a suitable and a wise one. Mr W. J. Appleton seconded, and said the authorities were fortunate in securing the services of a woman of such experience. The chairman agreed that no woman in the community was better qualified for such a position than Mrs McVicar.
