UNFORTUNATE FARMERS
DOMINION CONFERENCE REMIT. Per Press Association. NAPIER, May 27. The annual meeting of the Hawke’s Bay branch of the Farmers’ Union was held to-day. It was decided to forward tho fallowing remit to tho annual Dominion conference: “That the conference be recommended to urge farmers when employing labour to give nreferene© to those farmer?, who have nccii unfortunate enough through adversity and hard times to leave their holdings.”
