WELLINGTON NAVY LEAGUE

TOWN HALL DEMONSTRATION. Arrangements are now completed for the big Navy League demonstration in the Town Hall on Monday evening next. May 31st. in honour of "Jellicoe Night.” Commander J. R. Middleton. D. 5.0., will address the audience on “The Need for Adequate Naval Defence/’ Then will follow an excellent concert programme by Miss Taylor, Mr Bernard Page, Mr de Manny and Mr S. AJlwrisrht. After the concert refreshments will be served and then dancing will take place in the Concert Chamber until 12.30 o'clock. The Artillery Band, under Lieut. Herd, has very kindly given its services to play at ; the Town Hall from 7.30 to 8 p.m. To avoid disappointment the general miblic aT© advised to call at the Navy League office, 212, Lambton quay, as soon as possible to mirchaae tneir tickets, which are 2s 6d each, admitting to all the functions.
