PERSONAL AND GENERAL (From Our Own Correspondent.) MASTERTONj May 25. Mr J. K. Edie, headmaster at the Carterton District High School, has been appointed headmaster at the Wellington South School. Mr Edie came to tho Wairarapa sixteen years ago as headmaster at Martinborough, and a few years ago he Transferred to Carterton. Ml* Edie will remain in his present post until the eud of the year, taking up his new duties in the first term of 1927. The Wairarapa Miniature Rifle Association lias elected the following officers for the ensuing year;—patron, Hon. A. D. McLeod; president, Mr G. A Vincent; vice-presidents, Messrs J. F. Thompson, 11. E. Jackson, J. W. Card, T. Blissett, G. W. Busby, T. Collertou, J. B. Bairstow, J. B. Lawrence, J. C. Bidwill, L. G. Benton,
