GUILTY OF THEFT

COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE. Per Press Association. TAIHAPE, May 25. Joseph Wham, until recently a clerk in the employ of the Taihape Borough Council, pleaded guilty to-day to a charge of stealing and fraudulently converting to his own use £97 13s lid, the property of the council. The accused was committed for sentence to the Supreme Court, Wellington, bail being allowed.
