Cable advice received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company states that the steamer City of Manchester left Townsville yesterday morning for Oamaru, where she is due on June Ist to commence Homeward loading. She also loads at Bluff, Port Chalmers, Wanganui, Wellington, and Auckland, and Bails finally from the last-mentioned port on June 19th for London, via Monte Video and Teneriffe. RARANGA TO COMPLETE. To complete loading for Genoa, Havre and Lo’ndon, the Shaw, .Savill and Albion Company advise that the steamer Ruranga is due at Wellington to-day from Napier. She is , scheduled to sail finally from here on Saturday next, May ’ 29th. TO LOAD FOR MONTE VIDEO. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advise that the steamer Mahana leaves Auckland on Saturday for Wellington, thence Lyttelton and Dunedin, to complete her discharge of Liverpool cargo. She afterwards loads cargo for Monte Video and London at Port Chalmers, Bluff, Tiraaru and Wellington, and is expected to clear this port finally on July Ist.

COASTAL MOVEMENTS. The Kapuni, sailing to-day for Patea, returns to Wellington on Priday. The Hawera leaves Wellington to-day for Patea, and is due back here on Friday. The Kapiti, due here to-day from Wanganui, sails later in the day on the return trip The Inaha arrives at Wellington today from Patea, and leaves on the return trip later in the day. The Port Napier leaves Auckland today for Port Chalmers and New Plymouth The Port Nicholson is due at Wanganui to-morrow from Hicks Bay, and at Wellington on Thursday next. The Port Hardy leaves Lyttelton today for Wellington, and is due here to-morrow. The Port Curtis left Bluff yesterday for Lyttelton, where she is due to-day. The Calm arrived here last night from Wanganui, and leaves to-day for Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff The Breeze returns to Wellington on Friday from Onakaka and sails the same day for southern ports. The Storm, from Dunedin and way ports, arrives here on Friday and leaves the same day for Picton and Wanganui, thence Westport, inhere she loads for Lyttelton. The Gale, leaving Dunedin to-day, via Timaru and Lyttelton, is due here on Saturday and sails the same day for Wanganui. The Kohi returns to Wellington on Saturday from Nelson, and leaves later for Nelson and bays. The Fairburn is due here on Monday from Karamea, and sails on Tuesday on the return trip. The Sally Maersk now leaves Dunedin to-day for Sydney. The Hororata clears Auckland at daybreak to-morrow for Wellington, where she is due on Saturday. The Opawa, due here to-day from Blenheim, sails later in the day on the return trip. The Cygnet arrives at Wellington today from Kaikoura, and leaves for Lyttelton, via Kaikoura, later in the day. The Echo, due here to-morrow from Blenheim, sails the same day on the return trip. The Kennedy, sailing to-day for Foxton, returne to Wellington on Friday The Wairau, from Lyttelton via Blenheim* arrives here to-morrow and leaves the same day on the return trip. The Pareora, which left Auckland yesterday for Wellington, is due here on Friday. The City of Bombay leaves Auckland to-morrow for Napier and Wellington. The City of Melbourne left Lyttelton yesterday for Dunedin and Australia. The Hurunui leaves Wellington at daybreak this morning for Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, and Avonmouth, via Panama. The Kairanga is expected at Wellington on Monday from Adelaide, and sails later for Auckland and Portland. The Kaponga, leaving Auckland to-day, arrives here on Saturday, and sails the same day for Westport, where she loads for Wellington. The Komata sails from Westport tonight for Wellington, and is due here to-morrow. The Katoa leaves Auckland to-day for Wellington, and arriving here on Saturday, sails the same day for Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Opihi is due here on Saturday irom Dunedin and way ports, and leaves the same day for New Plymouth and Nelson. The Kiwitea leaves Portland to-day with cement for Wellington and Lyttelton, and is due here on Saturday. The Poolta, from Melbourne, is due here at 3 p.m. to-day, and* sails to-mor-row for New Plymouth, Timaru, and Greymouth. The Waipahi, which sailed yesterday for Auckland, loads there on Saturday for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The Wingatui leaves Auckland on Saturday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, Oamaru, and Timaru. The Wairuna leaves Wellington tomorrow for Melbourne and Sydney. The Wootton, sailing to-day for Lyttelton, returns to Wellington on Sunday. Ihe Tees leaves Lyttelton to-morrow for Chatham Islands. The Nikau, due here to-day from Motueka, sails later in the day for Motueka and Nelson. The Waverley, sailing to-day for Patea, returns to Wellington on Friday. The lonic arrived at Timaru yesterday from Lyttelton, and leaves to-mor-row for Auckland. The Matakana leaves Gisborne tonight for Wellington, where, she is due to-morrow night. The Koutunui sailed from Wellington yesterday for Gisborne. The Invercargill, sailing to-day for Wanganui, returns to Wellington on Friday. Ihe .Putiki is expected at Wellington to-morrow from East Coast ports. The Opua, due here to-day from Tarakohe, sails later in the day on the return trip. The Orepuki arrives at Wellington today from Lyttelton, and leaves later in the day for Nelson, Westport, and Greymouth. The Holmdale returns here to-morrow from Wanganui, and sails the same day for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. The John, due at Wellington on Sunday from Lyttelton, leaves on Monday for Wanganui and New Plymouth. RUAPEHU ARRIVES. An arrival in the stream at Wellington at 9.15 a.m. yesterday was the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruapehu, from London and Southampton, via Panama, with passengers, mails and cargo. After pratique was granted the vessel berthed shortly after 11 a.m. at the King s wharf. The Euapehu loaded cargo at London, and left there on April 16th for Southampton, where passengers wpro embarked and mails taken aboard. Departure was taken from Southampton at 1.55 P-m. the following day, and for the first three days heavy westerly weather was experienced. The weather then moderated, and continued fine until arrival at Panama at 4 a.m. on May 2nd. The ship passed through the canal during the day and arrived at Balboa at 3.30 S.m. Passengers went aslioro for a few ours, and the Ruapehu sailed at 10.30 p.m. Fine weather was experienced across the Pacific, hut on nearing the New Zealand coast heavy westerly gales were encountered. The usual deck games, fancy dress balls, and dances were held during the voyage, and were a great success. A further draft of assisted immigrants arrived by the vessel. The Ruapehu left Wellington again at 3.30 p.m. for Pprt Chalmers to discharge part cargo and load Dominion produce for England. The vessel is duo nl Port Chalmers this afternoon, and will sail about May 31st for Bluff, Lvttelton, and New Plymouth to complete discharge and continuo loading. She will complete her cargo at Wellington and is scheduled to leave this port on Julr Ist for Southampton and London, via ’Panama. CARGO FROM LONDON. The C. and D. Line advise that the steamer Port Kombla lias boon fixed to lond nt London for Dunedin and Lyltelton, and is scheduled to leave the Homo port on Juno 16th. She is due at Dunedin on July 241 h, 1

CANADIAN EXPLORER. To continue loading, the Canadian Government Line steamer Canadian Explorer is due at Wellington to-day from Dunedin. She leaves again later in the day for Auckland, where she completes loading and sails finally on May 29th for Now York, Boston, and Montreal. MARAMA FROM SYDNEY. From Sydney, the Union Company's intercolonial passenger steamer Marama arrived in the stream at Wellington at 7 o’clock yesterday morning, and after pratique was granted berthed at No. 1, north, Queen's wharf, to land her passengers, mails and cargo. The ship sailod from Sydney at 4 p.m. on Friday last and experienced fair weather for the run across. The following passengers arrived by the vessel: —Saloon: Miss D. Line have been advised that tho motor-ship Port , Dunedin will load at Glasgow and Liverpool for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, and is scheduled to sail from Liverpool on July 17th She is due at Auckland on August 28rd and at Wellington a week later.
