NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW
BIG ATTRACTIONS Our readers are reminded that the time is getting short for the closing of entries for the above exhibition. General entries, including poultry, fat stock and other competitive exhibits, will close on June Ist. Exceptions are boxing, wrestling and Scottish dancing, which do not close until June sth. There is every indication that it will be a bumper exhibition, ce the demand np to the present has exceeded the supply, and the space committee will be hard put to it to provide for all applicants. The decision of the committee to take in cars from both members and non-members far parking cars and the free supply of hot water where required has given gres.t satisfaction to many country patrons. A very large influx of dairy suppliers, factory managers, and breeders is anticipated, and it is expected that His Excellency the Governor-General will be visiting a show at Palmerston North for the first time. Elaborate programmes of football matches and other ring events are being prepared, something being ready to interest and amuse all through the show. The secretary’s box number is 85, Palmerston North.
