CHURCH OF ENGLAND
MORE ADVERTISING NEEDED. (By Telegraph—Special to “Times.”) AUCKLAND, May 21. The great need on the part of the Churcli of England is the need of more advertising, said Archbishop Averili at a meeting of the board to the Pupatoetoe Orphans’ Home. “We are far too modest in acquainting the public with our accomplishments,” said the Archbishop. He could assure the Press that photographs which appeared from time to time illustrating the work oi the Church were much appreciated by the public. Ho thought that were social service department of tho Church to prepare photographs as part of its propaganda equipment the public would thus be better acquainted with its activities, and at the same time realise more fully their own responsibilities in the matter of support.
