OLD BOYS FORGATHER

NEW PLYMOUTH BOYS’ HIGH SCHOOL ANNUAL MEETING. A representative gathering of old boys of the New Plymouth Boys’ High School was present last evening on the occasion on the annual meeting of the Wellington branch of the Old Boys’ Association. In the enforced absqnce of the president (Mr W. E. Bawson) the chair was occupied by Mr G. Beckett (vice-president of the association). Office-bearers for the ensuing year were elected as follow: —Patron, Mr W. H. Moyes (re-elected;; president, Mr W. E. Rawson (re-elected); vicepresidents, Messrs A. L. Hempton, T. G. A. Harle, E. W. Hursthouse and G. Beckett; committee, Messrs C. Fookcs, R. I. M. Sutherland, R. Bothamley, T. W. Foden, and C. Winfield; joint secretaries, Messrs B. Watson and H. I. Mclvor. It was unanimously decided that an old boys’ reunion be held in Wellington this year in the form of a smoke concert.
