“THE KNOCKOUT.” Motion picture lovers who have tired of * problem plays, psychological studies and the like, and who have been crying for pictures containing melodrama, romance, action and thrills will find all these in “The Knoqkout,” which is the main feature at the Paramount Theatre. In this picture one finds love, thrills, action, excitement, scenic beauty, pathos, and good, wholesome fun. And Milton Sills gives, in tho opinion of all who have seen the film, one of the greatest screen performances cf his brilliant career. Briefly,! “The Knockout” is the story of a prizefighter who goes to the lumber camps of Canada ns a camp superintendent* when liis famous right arm is injured. He falls in love with the daughter of the crippled owner of a large timber tract. From here on to the end of the film one gets every thrill imaginable. After many adventures, including being let in for a prizo fight and for the breaking of a log jam, Sills wins the girl or his heart, the lady being Lorna Duveen, a dainty newcomer to the screen. An admirable 'supporting bill and exceptionally fine musical programme complete a good entertainment.
