DAIRY CONTROL
SOUTHLAND VIEW Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, April 18. A meeting of upwards of 90 representatives of Southland dairy factories on Saturday discussed matters relative to the forthcoming conference at Wellington in reference to Dairy Control. The following motions were adopted:—(l) That this meeting is in favour of voting for the control board on export tonnage basis, voting to be in the hands of the company directors; (2) That subject to the tonnage system being adopted the ward ssytem of election be adopted. The meeting also decided against the establishment of the dairy council as a buffer between the supplier and the hoard.
