NEW PRINCESS THEATRE
“LOST AND FOUND.” The star attraction at the New Princess Theatre this week is “Lost and Found.” The story is of a South Sea island, and the principal actors are House Peters, Paulino Starke and Antonio Moreno. The picture is unusual, beautiful, exciting and romantic. The settings and the plot are out of the ordinary, and the whole film is one that should not be missed.
Hetty Gandy, a teacher in a small town, has not married, due to a misunderstanding, On vacation, she promises to marry John Smith, but compelled to leave before telling the day writes the date on an egg, which instead of being given to him, is sent to the market in a crate. Five years later a telegram announces that John Smith is coming to take her to the city. There is great rejoicing and many preparations, but when he arrives he is not the John Smith Who is expected. Complications arise, but later they find love and happiness. That is the story of “Marry Me.” a comedy, featuring Florence VidoT, which is the second feature. A good supporting programme and No. 4 group of the “Shingle” contest complete the bill. There are some excellent orchestral items at night.
