TWO YEARS’ IMPRISONMENT. Per Pre-is Association. AUCKLAND, April 15. At tho Police Court to-day, Harry Newman (27) and Gerald Thomas Silk (27) were convicted of tho theft of jewellery and of ussaulting John Joseph Clarkson, at Northcoto, on March 29th. They were each sentenced to two years’ imprisonment.
