AT HIS MAJESTY’S
REVUE AND BRIGHT VAUDEVILLE. A feature of tho bill at His Majesty’s this week is the revue, entitled “Any Old Tiling,” which is being presented by Phil Smith and his talented little company. The bulk of the fun is provided by Phil Smith nnd the droll Nat Hanley. It is a good show from start to finish, and is full of melodious tunes and excellent comedy. The work of Peggy Peate, Nellie Deane, and Phyllis Nicholson is excellent. Robert Raymond and William Greene are both heard at their best, while the dancing of Charles Megan and Mildred O’Brien is a treat to see. The Smiling Six are still prime favourites in this excellent company. In the vaudeville half of the programme a welcome reappearance is made by popular Joe Brennan and Ida Newton in clever comecly and dialogue. Lesley Elliott proves just as popular as ever in songs at the piano. The Rey. Frank Gorman, “The Singing Parson,” is heard in some new numbers, and the Carthy Brothers present a novel dancing and comedy turn.
