- ACCIDENTS IN PARIS Horses ckuse more street accidents than automobiles, according to . the French Automobile. Club of the West. During the months of. July and September of -1925, thirty-nine mortal accidents were attributed, to horses, and only twenty-five to automobiles, yin Paris. ’During this' same period accidents caused by horses : numbered in all 439, with 404 injured. Automobile accidents numbered 100 less, and the'injured were 293. Counting 100,000,000 kilometres traversed by the horse and automobile in one year, accidents by the former number twice as many as those by automobiles, , with . a proportionate number of. dead and injured.
