UNEMPLOYMENT IN RUSSIA HOUSING PROBLEM ACUTE. Published in "The Times.” LONDON, March 23. The Riga correspondent of “llhe Times” says that life in Leningrad is becoming more difficult. The housing problem is acute, and has resulted in the revival off compulsory billeting. Unemployment is increasing at the rate of 10,000 a month, and now has reached 88,000. The conditions in other industrial centres are equally grave.
