’PLANE CRASHES
PILOT NOT HURT. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, March 13. Through crashing into a wire fence after a forced landing near the Hornby railway station, caused by engine trouble, last evening, tile under-enr-riage of an Avro training aeroplane piloted by Second-Lieutenant McKenzie, suffered considerable damage. One of tho propeller blades was snapped oil. and several smaller parts of tile engine were damaged. The pilot was unhurt.
