OLYMPIC HARRIERS

ANNUAL MEETING election of officers. The annual general meeting of the Olympic Harrier Club took place at the i.M.C.A. last night. Mr A. T. Davies (president) was in the chair. The annual report and balance-sheet was read and adopted. A number of new members were elected. Mr A. T. Davies moved: “That the club congratulates R. A. Rose on his performance in winning the New Zealand cross-country championship last season, and on his phenomenal performances in defeating Lloyd Hahn, the American champion, in the last few weeks.” , . The following officers .were elected for the coming year;—President, Mr A. T. Davies (unopposed); vice-presidents, Messrs W, H. Bennett, T. M. Wilson, H. Amos, J. Don, A. C. KittO, H. Osborne, V. J Power, E A Shaw, E. Brewin, A. R. Perston, J. N. Wickens, S. A. Wiren, F. H,. Jansen, C. Whittaker, Blair, J. R. Perston and Mrs Philp; club captain, Mr Scatehard (unopposed); deputy captain, Mr P. Wilson ; secretary, Mr C. W. Phipson (unopposed) ; treasurer, Mr G. Campbell (unopposed!; delegates to the ' Wellington eenft-e, Messrs C. Campbell and H. Grove.
