UNLAWFUL LANDING OF CHINESE. -hi - * Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, February 4. Robert Poole, a fireman on the Tofua, was fined £75 for assisting throe Chinamen to unlawfully land in Nev Zealand. Accused hid the Chinese in a storeroom near the boiler, whore they were discovered hy the ship’s engineer.
