Fish Is quite plentiful. Flounders are Is lb, bake 9d lb, and smoked fish Is 3d lb. Grocery prices remain much the same. Butter beans 4d lb, French beans 4d lb, peas Sib for !*• cabbages 2d to 6d each, cauliflowers 4d to 8d each, lettuce 2d and 34 each, and cucumbers are as cheap as Id slicL The prevailing prices for mtat are as follow:—Beef: Sirloin 9d» ribs 7d lb, rolled 7d lb, topside 7d lb. Mutton: Sides 6d, legs 8d lb, rump and fillet steak Is per Ibt shoulders 7d, loins 8d lb, and frying chops 9d lb. New season's veal is 9d lb (filleted). Sides of lamb are ltd lb, hindquarters Is, and forequarters lOd.
