It is claimed to be the largest of its kind ever held in the Dominion, and contains many excellent individual displays. It will run till Thursday inclusive. The Han. F. J. Rolleston, interviewed before leaving Dunedin, after spending three days at the Exhibition, said: “I can only say the reports have not been exaggerated. The whole Exhibition is a remarkable tribute to the civic enthusiasm and pride of the people of Dunedin. I am glad to have bad the goad fortune to sit in the grand court on a perfect summer day and hear the most finished and perfect band musio I have ever heard. I have not seen half of what I should have. For this I blame the band of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.”
