TAMAHINE’S CRUISE

FOURTH SOUNDS EXCURSION. The Tamahine’a excursion to Pelorus Sound during the week-end having proved a great success, both as regards numbers and the apparent enjoyment of the passengers, the trip will be repeated next Saturday. The programme will be the same as during the last week-end. The vessel will leave Wellington for Picton at 1.15 p.m., arriving there about 4.30 p.m. A dance will bp held during the evening. She will leave Picton for Pelorus Sound early next morning, arriving at Tennyson Inlet before breakfast. The launch and ship’s boats will take passengers to various places of interest about this beautiful place, including a visit to Elaine Bay, an easy walk from which to the saddle gives a' splendid view over Croisilleß harbour. The steamer will leave the inlet early in the afternoon for Picton, calling into Ship Cove on the way. and will leave Picton finally for Wellington at 6 p.m., arriving in Wellington about 9.30 —in time for the last trams. On the following week-end, no excursion will he run, owing to arrangements for the transport of the British bowlers, but during suhseouent weekends the excursion will he run to Oueen Charlotte Sound or Pelorus Sound, according to circumstances.
