' ll At the inquest on Caroline Mary ■-Wilson, the evidence showed that de- ' ceased endeavoured to secure poison ‘Tram three chemists hut withput success. She then went to a florist and secured a carton of hlackleaf poison •saying she required it for chrysauthennims. On returning home she .drank the poison, death following soon after. A verdict of suicide by poison selfadministered was returned, the coroner commenting on the inconsistency of a law which permitted florists and others to. sell poisons without restriction, whilst chemists were properly required to comply with tho regulations under the Poisons Act.
