VIOLENT EXPLOSION
COLONIAL SUGAR CO.’S WORKS FIVE MEN INJURED, | Bv Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. (Received January 24, 5.5 p.m 1 .) SYDNEY, January 24. A violent explosion wrecked the wall of one of the main -buildings of the Colonial Sugar Refining Company’s refining works at Pyrmont. Flying brickwork badly damaged the roof of a laboratory aSjoining the building. Five men who were attending a sugar-bin where the explosion occurred were injured, three seriously. The damage is> very heavy.
