a perfectly low-out corset and, at the same time, retain the slim lines above the top of the hplt. This “control” is a triangular piece of broche cut in one with the corset, and standing upwards from it. It is well honed, yet does not produce the pigeon-waisted effect that is the bane of a high-cut model.
The corset-cover which acts as a brassiere is useful, not alone because it keeps the corset unsoiled, but also because it helps to give the smooth, unbroken outline that is so essential to-day. These coven, which aro mads of fine and olosely woven fabric, are attached to the stockings by means of suspenders—yet another ruse which makes for slimness.
