BRITISH NAVY AFFECTED ADMIRALTY STIRRED TO ACTION ALLEGATIONS DENIED Reuter's Teleffram. (Received December 17, 7.15 p.m.) PORTSMOUTH, December 16. In naval port orders the Command-er-in-cliief, Admiral Sir Sydney Fremantale, states that the Admiralty’s attention has been called to the distribution, presumably through tlie activities of Communists, of pamphlets circulated widely in His Majesty’s ships and naval barracks in Home waters. The Admiralty has therefore directed that a statement shall be read to all ships’ companies, and placed on the notice-boards in.all His Majesty’s ships and establishments, showing that there is no foundation for the allegations contained in the leaflets, and pointing out that the writers of the leaflets are not interested in the welfare of the lower deck, hut, aim at creating discontent, in order to facilitate the introduction by revolutionary violence of a form of government similar to that in Russian
