“SIEGE” TO-NIGHT.”
“One of tbe most dramatic pictures of the year” is the verdict of m«nv who have seen “Siege,” the UniversalJewel feature starring Virginia Valli and Eugene O’Brien, which is to he screened at the King’s Theatre tonight. How an independent, strongwilled young man, introduced by marriage into the family, refuses to bend to the Puritanical conventions of the clan, and.the iron rule of a cruel, selfish old woman who dominates it, is realistically and dramatically told. Miss Va’li has the strongest role of her cKreer as the young wife, with Eugene O’Brien as the husband. Mary Alden adds many laurels to her fame as a character actress in the role of tbe dominant leader of the Kuyland family. The supporting cast includes Mr re MrcDermott. Beatrice Birnham, Hatrv Lorraine, Helen Dunbar, and many’ others.
There Is a flrst-rate supporting programme, and some entrancing music by Mr A. H. Jerome’s orchestra.
