THAMES HARBOUR
- IMPROVEMENT SCHEME TENDER ACCEPTED. Per Press Association THAMES, December 10. The tender of R. R. Hunt, of Auckland, at £5825, has been accepted for the full-tide walls for the new harbour. Eight were received, the highest being just under £IO,OOO. A suction and cutter dredge is now being constructed, and it is expected that within twelve months the greater portion of the scheme will be completed.
